STROLL TO PUNCH BUGERS | Indianapolis, IN

punch burgers in indianapolis in march

The fact that today was almost 60 degrees and sunny after an incredibly long, grey, snowy winter -- that was delightful. I curled my hair, put on some bright red lipstick and walked over to check out the library. I (somehow) haven't made it over to the main branch since the trek to Indy. I realized that anywhere you go in the world, as long as you can get to a library, you're grounded -- you have a home. The first thing I did was go as high up as I could go, all the way up to the 6th floor, found a little corner by a window, and tried to pry myself away from the awesome view to read. But I digress -- this is about BURGERS, not books. ;) How I ended up going to Punch: I got a text from Lucas when he was on the way home from work, asking if I wanted to go for a walk. Um, YES. I've been stuck inside all winter. This was the day I've been waiting for for weeks.

We were both kind of hungry so we made out way downtown so Lucas could retrace his steps from the last time he went to Punch Burgers. ;) I'd never been. I was fascinated by the wall menu. I ordered a burger, slightly pink (YUM), and was boring with a plain white bun. Whatevs. I also got an order of the sweet potato tots. I wasn't thrilled with them, sadly. They tasted more like carrots than sweet potatoes. Weird.
