"WHEN IT GETS WARM, EVERYONE WALKS ON MASS AVE." | Indianapolis

photograph of mass ave, indianapolis

Walking through downtown Indy, we passed along Mass Ave. Feeling the spring air was like waking up a piece of my soul that's been dormant for far too long. It felt so good to be out, be moving, and not be frozen. The pastel evening light filtered down through the buildings and I immersed myself in the joy of that funny, sleepy, hopeful place between winter and spring. We wound our way back home past the library and some other lovely buildings. <3

“She turned to the sunlight
    And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
    "Winter is dead.”
― A.A. Milne, When We Were Very Young
